NDIS Modules

NDIS Registration Groups & Modules

There are multiple services provided to participants under NDIS classification, all covered by the following modules:

  • Verification Module
  • Core Module
  • Module 2 Specialist Behavior Support
  • Module 2a, Implementing Regulated Behavior Support
  • Module 1, High-Intensity Personal Care
  • Module 3, Early Childhood Development
  • Module 4, Specialist Support Coordination
  • Module 5, Specialized Disability Accommodation (SDA

Each NDIS-funded service is called a registration group, which is 35 in total. The Verification Module covers most of the groups, while the Core Module covers the groups that attract most of the NDIS’s overall funding. 

The NDIS Commission portal provides details of these groups and their required relevant qualifications. Visiting this portal would be immensely helpful for any aspiring provider.
